Our Process

INITIAL CONSULTATION. During this discovery phase, EQUITY BUILDERS works in partnership with clients to realize their own sense of style. We collaborate to review options and help make choices to ensure the finished product reflects your unique taste. The deliverables at the end of this phase are creative concepts for your consideration.

DESIGN. During the design phase, creative and blueprint development will begin in earnest. If you already have plans from an architect, we will be glad to act as a liaison to insure that the integrity of the design is upheld during the construction of your project.

QUOTE. EQUITY BUILDERS develops an initial cost estimate and project plan by studying existing plans and conducting site visits. The deliverable at the end of this phase is a formal project plan that includes a detailed project design, blueprints, timeline and project fees. EQUITY BUILDERS will work with you to bring the design into alignment with your budget.

CONTRACTING. We will present you with a written contract. Work begins once the permit is issued and the contract signed.

CONSTRUCTION. In this phase, we begin building. Any changes during this phase must have a change request completed to ensure you are informed of how changes will impact both cost and scheduling.

QUALITY REVIEW AND CLOSURE. To thank you for your business, we provide a FREE 90-day and one-year follow-up visit to make needed cosmetic touchups. We also offer 24 Hour emergency service on your electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems should the need arise.
