John Elsey, President
As company founder and president, John's passion for construction, quality and loyalty to clients and partners are the inspiration behind Equity Builders. John is a Certified Graduate Builder and has spent 15-years in the Indianapolis residential construction industry.  He has degrees in architecture and construction management from Purdue University and excels at project management, while maintaining high integrity throughout.  A builder at heart, John began his career as a superintendent in the residential construction industry and has served in a variety of service and quality leadership positions at several major residential construction companies. John is an Indianapolis native and outdoorsman who embraces family values, and enjoys coaching sports and serving as assistant den leader of his son’s scout troop.

Susanne Elsey, Partner
Susanne leads business planning and marketing for Equity Builders.  Susanne guides the growth and development strategy of the company to realize the company’s mission of providing personalized design, construction and remodeling services with exceptional customer experience and unparalleled integrity, quality and craftsmanship.  Susanne has degrees from Indiana University, Purdue University and Ball State University.  She has over 11 years experience coaching executives on leadership and business strategy development. She enjoys being a wife and mother of two sons, boating, skiing, reading and socializing with friends.
